Itinerary
Day 1 :
Arrival in Tanzania
Step into the enchanting land of Tanzania and feel the excitement build as you’re warmly welcomed. A seamless transfer from the airport takes you to the vibrant city of Moshi, setting the stage for your Kilimanjaro adventure.
Day 2 :
Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Our journey kicks off with a private transfer to Machame Gate, where the magic begins. Ascend along the forest trail to Machame Camp at 3000m, surrounded by nature’s tranquility. Your adventure officially starts, promising a night of camping under the African sky.

Day 3 :
Machame Camp to Shira Camp
Bid farewell to the rainforest as we ascend through a rocky ridge covered with heather. The trail leads to Shira Camp, offering colder temperatures and a night of camping at 3850m. Capture the beauty of the changing landscapes and immerse yourself in the altitude.

Day 4 :
Shira Camp to Baranco Camp via Lava Tower
Challenge yourself with a climb to the base of the Lava Tower at 4600m, marking the toughest day yet. Adhere to the ‘walk high, sleep low’ principle as you descend to Barranco Camp, nestled below the towering Breach and Great Barranco Wall.

Day 5 :
Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
A short yet thrilling day begins with a scramble up the Great Barranco Wall. Traverse over scree to the Karanga Valley at 3930m, where you’ll spend the night amidst captivating high-altitude surroundings.

Ascent: 260 m
Descent: 280 m

Day 6 :
Karanga Camp to Barafu Hut/Kosovo Camp
Leave Karanga Camp behind and meet the junction connecting to the Mweka descent trail. Ascend to Barafu Camp, marking the completion of the Southern Circuit. Rest, dine, and witness the breathtaking peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo.

Day 7 :
Barafu Camp to Summit to Mweka Camp
A defining day unfolds as you trek to the summit between glaciers, reaching Stella Point and ultimately Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Kilimanjaro. Descend to Mweka Camp, relishing your last dinner on the mountain and a well-earned sleep.

Ascent: 1295 m
Descent: 2795 m

Day 8 :
Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate
your final descent takes you to the Mweka Park Gate to collect summit certificates. Revel in the achievement as you transfer to your hotel, descending 1300m and relishing the comforts of a well deserved rest.

Day 9 :
Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport or Safari National Park
Bid farewell to the towering peaks as you transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your journey home or seamlessly transition into another adventure like a thrilling safari in the national park.
